Threadedflight No. 5 — Mourning Dove & Mandevilla is the original start-to-finish course illustration from my Threadedflight Little Adventure.

This mounted piece brings together the mourning dove, Mandevilla blossoms, and flowing terracotta ribbon from the course demonstration, with layered watercolor, pencil, ink, colored pencil, and faux-stitching details.

Details:

  • Original artwork
  • Watercolor, pencil, ink, and colored pencil
  • Arches cold press watercolor paper, 140 lb
  • Cut by hand and mounted on a 9 × 12 warm natural linen panel
  • Signed on the back
  • Original course demonstration / start-to-finish piece
  • Frame not included

About the linen: The linen panel is a warm natural flax/linen tone. Screen and camera settings may make it appear cooler or grayer in photographs.

Shipping: Please allow up to 5–7 business days for your original artwork to be carefully packed and prepared for shipment. Orders are shipped once each week via USPS Ground Advantage. Shipping is currently available within the United States only. Tracking will be emailed once your order ships.

Lost or damaged orders: If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 3 days of delivery and include photos of the artwork, the packaging, and the shipping label. Please keep all packaging until the issue is resolved. If a package appears to be lost in transit, please contact me so I can help investigate it with USPS. Because these are one-of-a-kind originals, damaged or lost artwork cannot be replaced with an identical piece. Any refund or other resolution will be handled individually once the shipping issue has been documented.

A quick note: Because this is hand-painted and hand-assembled, you may see small pencil lines, stray marks, paint blooms, paper texture, cutting variations, stitching marks, and other little signs of the making process. Colors are photographed as accurately as possible, but screens can shift things a bit, so the original may vary slightly in person.
