Pocketstories No. 4 — Found Feather

Pocketstories No. 4 — Found Feather is an original from my Pocketstories Little Adventure — a small watercolor composition built around a real found treasure.

This piece pairs a tiny found feather with mirrored folk-inspired brushwork. The feather is part of the original artwork and gives the piece its dimensional center.

Details:

• Original artwork
• Watercolor on Arches cold press watercolor paper, 140 lb
• Mounted on acid-free matboard
• 3.75 × 6.75 in
• Includes the one-of-a-kind found feather shown
• Signed
• Frame not included

Framing: Because this Pocketstories piece has depth, I recommend professional framing with spacers or a shadowbox-style frame so the found feather is protected without being pressed against the glazing.

A note about the found treasure: Each Pocketstories trinket is one of a kind and cannot be replaced with an identical match. I pack these pieces very carefully, but if the found feather is damaged in transit while the artwork itself arrives safely, I’ll provide a small partial refund for the trinket portion of the piece. You may then leave the center as-is or add a found treasure of your own.

Shipping: Please allow up to 5–7 business days for your original artwork to be carefully packed and prepared for shipment. Pocketstories pieces are packed as dimensional artwork with extra protection around the found object. Orders are shipped once each week via USPS Ground Advantage. Shipping is currently available within the United States only. Tracking will be emailed once your order ships.

Lost or damaged orders: If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 3 days of delivery and include photos of the artwork, the found object, the packaging, and the shipping label. Please keep all packaging until the issue is resolved. Because these are one-of-a-kind originals, lost or damaged artwork cannot be replaced with an identical piece. Any refund or other resolution will be handled individually once the shipping issue has been documented.

A quick note: Because this is hand-painted, you may see small pencil lines, stray marks, paint blooms, paper texture, and other little signs of the making process. Colors are photographed as accurately as possible, but screens can shift things a bit, so the original may vary slightly in person.
